I even tried to remove vdi image and changed evry settings control and nothing helps 🙁 I even reinstalled xp and installed original microsoft xp and nothing helped. I have done that procedure for other kind of drivers and hardware more than a hundred times and it is not a reason for the system not boot or having problems get redirected here Worked like a charm and I didn't delete any files, so maybe skip the deleting intelppm.sys or renaming part of the operation until you try rebooting after the registry correction first.

Actually, as someone mentioned, it's easier just to rename or delete intelppm.sys from the recovery console.
