I have this problem constantly the last year and half because I torched something on my 280m when overclocking it I think, either that or my powerbrick is not delivering enough I have updated my drivers and set power management settings to prefer maximum performance, but it still persists. What's weird is some games like BF3 and Far Cry 3 have no problems, I can play for hours with the GPU >70°C, but some games will TDR sometimes every half-hour Moving graphics cards around and upgrading drivers didn't fix the issue.
The game will stop, screen flash black, then back to the game and the event will be posted.I have read this with ATI and nVidia cards. please help help what to do?
