Maybe I just don't remember though.
I went into safe mode to uninstall the device, but everytime I reboot - Windows detects "New hardware", finds the same broken driver and installs it. The time now is 11:14 PM. disable automatic driver installation... Thank you very much for your time.

If you rename the folder called DRIVER CACHE, windows won't know where to look to auto install the driver, and you can choose the (older) driver you wish to use.
