If I cange my playback engine to my Mac Pro built in line out, power down my 003 Rack+ and restart my computer all is fine when I relaunch Pro Tools, Low and behold, anytime I selected the AVID 003 device my CPU shot up like a rocket. I've tried everything so far and the only thing that seems to be on par with PT in regards to audio editing, key commands and and session management is LPX. Got Apple Pro Apps in on this, and hopefully they will spearhead it with ProTools. The 9 driver will not work at all nor will the 8 driver.
Keep on creating peeps. OS X 10.10.5, LogicPro 10.1. I would assume it doesn't work - I'm running the I/O in USB mode for the moment, anyway (I record at 24/88.2 most of the time). Digi 002 Pro Tools 12 It's frustrating because I'm soooo close.
Also, and much less likely to get an answer, has anyone tried the Symphony Mobile ExpressCard in Lion yet? Digi Coreaudio Manager Just check the specs to be sure. The apollo and 16.4.2 definitely do not have this issue. Digi 003 Console If I wasn't on the 003rack, I would probably go the Apogee route too, but I need firewire and ADAT, so sitting tight with my rack is best right now. But that is neither here nor there. Here's my rig specs to better help you all understand, and maybe draw some similarities if you might be having some of these symptoms.

There are a ton of choices now for interfaces, so do your due dilligence and make sure you get one that fits your needs. or Adrenaline, connect the 003 Family or Digi 002 Family interface ... 4.0.x uses an Mbox driver from a ... lol Keep on rocking it and good luck. this content Is the roll back process even worth it?

Digi 002 Drivers Pro Tools 8 Once I downloaded the PACE components, the latest Digidesign (Avid) Stand alone driver worked perfectly in Lion with Logic 9.1.4.
And software since then is Lion, Mountain Lion, Mavericks and now Yosemite. That's why I abandond PT totally 2 months ago. Logic 9.1.4 works fine, as does my Apogee Symphony I/O and Maestro 2 - I also figured out some workarounds for my original Duet and Maestro 1, though they were far I was on Mavericks and had to roll back to Mountain Lion. Tried both standalone core audio (for leopard and snow leopard with recommendations from discussions boards, and digidesign latest drivers for each interface.
