lol. i cannot use either usb Mbox2 or my 002 rack midi and SPDIF functionality. The only way to get it stable is to run everything on Snow Leopard, and that was not an option for me. I'd like to be able to run it at 24/196, though, sometime - and I don't plan on picking up a new mac pro for a while yet, for the PCIx Digi 002, Digi 002 Rack, Mbox, Mbox 2, and ... At all. I run a Y cable from the 1/8″ output on my Macbook to the 1/4″ left and right Aux inputs on the 003. I sold my Digi 003 rack and picked up an Audient id22 interface and it's the best thing I ever did. check my blog Once I get this CPU issue solid and settled, I'm going stick with my rack and Logic X and PT.
I was using outdated drivers so I deleted them, and then I downloaded the latest Core Audio drivers from Avid and installed them. While I love Pro Tools, Digidesign's interfaces don't historically play very nicely with playing back regular computer audio. So, my question is, has anyone tried to use the Digi CoreAudio drivers (I think it's 8.0.3?) in Lion yet?
