Digi 002 Rack Drivers Mac 10.6
Accel systems, legacy blue Pro Tools|HD interfaces, Digi 002 family, 003 ... External Drives will only be recognized when shut down the mac, disconnect the 002r and restart OSX. (Then they show up in Disk Utility and finder) I think the problem is Driver Downloads and Updates (avid.com/drivers). ... As far as I know they work on 10.6 and 10.7.

The connection problem also is solved in Snow Leopard (10.6.5) First we reconnect the 002r on the iMac (running Leopard 10.5.8) it was running on and try to open protools.

- It wasnt until version 10.5.3 that it started working properly.Im not sure where the problem lies, but I hope either DigiDesign or Apple fixes the problem soon.if you work with Digidesign
- The Digi 002 is a fine tool for recording with Garageband and Logic Studio.Apple should make it compatible with its software because a lot of people use the Digi 002.

Snow Leopard does not recognize Digi hardware, so no playing iTunes or other non-DAW apps through it. User Name Remember Me? I have downloaded the stand alone driver (Digidesign Core Audio driver) for Mac 10.4 as that is the only one that I can find.

I don't know if the 002r (firewire port on the 002r) or the CoreAudio Manager (in OSX 10.6.5) is the problem. OneMoreThing: Will this problem be solved with the protools 9 software (with better CoreAudio Manager Drivers)?
