Make sure you have updated all drivers for everything, especially if something is listed under problem devices. enabled, you should have an app on the computer that can read that data... It may be fixable with a Windows 7 disc's Repair option. Startup programs and automatic updates (updating from many programs including microsoft update) can potentially slow it down. Both programs have been uninstalled but the stall on the welcome screen still persists. I've installed Windows 7 and it works fine only in Safe Mode or if I disable 9800 GT else I get blank screen after startup. Windows 7: Startup delay with blank screen... Several functions may not work. check over here You may have to Register before you can post.

Thanks Irv, you are right doubting those drivers, the computer booted fine this morning and boot log still has those drivers not loading. Move along, move along. Stay logged in Sign up now! So I ran the boot-loggging feature in win 7 and noticed various entries which did not load.
