I purchased a new Diamond Xtreme 5.1 channel sound card yesterday for my computer. I followed the instructions in the manual to the letter, but every time I would run the installation, an error message would pop up saying "Setup has experienced an error. I'll try those last suggestions you gave me, and if that doesn't work, then I'll just call Diamond support. The time now is 20:11. I'll link the Microsoft support page I used. you could check here

Sound & Audio Sound card drivers show as working but still no soundHi, as stated in the subject, I am unable to hear any sound from my speakers since upgrading to Diamond Xtreme Sound 7.1 Driver Drivers FPS drop because of sound card / sound card drivers?I've recently upgraded my os to windows 7, and noticed a significant fps drop in all games I've installed. Now all i have to figure out as why my second set of speakers ( I have bose Companion 2 & Companion 3) both plugged in and only one set is Installed it iaw directions, disable my old sound card via bios/cmos set up, saved it and re-booted.

I checked in their site but no driver for windows 7.
