The card also appears to perform just fine with the AGP bus overclocked. I haven't purchased a Diamond Stealth III S540 yet, but I would prefer to use AGP if at all possible because I have no more free PCI slots. The memory chips being used is the Mira 7ns type. I wonder if this is Diamond's intepretation of saving paper??? I've read that this causes problems for some AGP graphics cards. Definitely not a buy for 3D intensive gamers!
In any case the default refresh rate for the S540 is 85.0Hz. There is one setback...it is not registered with DirectX, but does not cause lockups if DirectX 6.x/7.x is installed.
