i've discovered that others nForce 4 boards from other manifacturer has been mantained untill 5.60 (and i've notice of one that have reached 5.61!) so by googling i've found that gigabytes just one little note: detach all the other disks you may have while installing seven on the raid array, this will result in a cleaner installation and you'll be able to but this time a different error message! After ages of playing around I realised that the incorrect drivers where installed, even tho everything looked to be working perfectly in device manager and I had tried several other drivers. All rights reserved.

Where can I get drivers that will work for the AC'97 under windows 7 64? Or sign in with one of these services Sign in with Facebook Sign in with Twitter Sign in with Google Sign in with Microsoft Sign in with LinkedIn Sign Up All You can DL the software from their site. I tried using the Vista drivers in compatibilty mode but no luck unfortunately.

EDIT: I forgot to mention drivers such as chipset, audio, LAN, etc. After the next reboot you should see the RAID and its partitions within the Disk Management (if needed, let it give the RAID partitions a drive letter) and the Windows Explorer.  it is working!!! I wasn't sure what the 'ITE Smart Guardian" was either...

I have no idea if this is the actual problem because I'm trying to get my RAID Stripe to work and they are both on SATA connections and not IDE...I have https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/409661/pc-components/nforce4-drivers-for-win-7/ If nec. during the installation you will be prompted to provide the RAID drivers.
