Currently I use a 003r and Pro Tools 7.4 LE for recording, but I also use my 003r for use it for iTunes an messing around in Reaper. To manually uninstall, remove the "Digidesign CoreAudio.plugin" file from the following location on your hard drive: Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL Download the Digidesign CoreAudio Driver Digidesign CoreAudio Driver v6.1.2 for Digidesign Hardware on All rights reserved. I am running Lion 10.7.5.

Digi 002 Drivers Pro Tools 10 I'm not asking for perfect compatibility - that may be asking too much! - I was just wondering if they worked. The sound will always play back though the Macintosh’s built-in audio controller (through the Macintosh’s speaker or headphone jack).
I know I will have to buy the Pro Tools upgrade to have it work witn 10.6, but before I jump I need to know about the coreaudio driver.
I was using outdated drivers so I deleted them, and then I downloaded the latest Core Audio drivers from Avid and installed them. Has anyone worked with a digi 002 rack as a midi interface on OSX Lion? That's what worked for me. In fact: Pro Tools has made me see that Logic is the best software. My digi 003 rack is comming next week, and I want to use it with snow leopard and logic 9. (maybe I´ll buy protools 8 if protools projects will come to have a peek at these guys For example, if you are running iTunes with the Digidesign CoreAudio Driver, you will need to quit iTunes before using another CoreAudio client application with the Digidesign CoreAudio Driver.
I would assume it doesn't work - I'm running the I/O in USB mode for the moment, anyway (I record at 24/88.2 most of the time).
