Digi Core Audio Driver Update Snow Leopard
i have installed both the stand alone (CoreAudio_Installer_v803_64550.dmg) and the 002/003(002_003_Drivers_v90_69599.dmg.) i can only use the stand alone driver for when i am using ableton live or native instruments stand alone For the moment, I'm lugging the I/O back and forth from the studio for home mixing... Digi Coreaudio Manager
This download is for owners of supported Digidesign hardware on Mac OS X 10.5.3 "Leopard" that wish to install the Digidesign CoreAudio Driver without installing Pro Tools. I'm hoping its a simple solution. I'm not asking for perfect compatibility - that may be asking too much! - I was just wondering if they worked.

AFAIK, the Core Audio driver is different - but I could be dead wrong, I haven't used many non-HD PT rigs. i do however get audio from pro tools 9 from my internal macbook pro sound card. Core Audio Driver For Windows Or does snow leopard has the driver included (like with mostly every other audio interface) ? As far I can tell, Logic will work fine with OS 10.7 Lion and the Digi 002 Rack so long as I download the free driver, correct? no CoreAudio?

I boot up CoreAudio and the Host light comes on my 003 rack, but like I said, still nothing shows up in the sound preferences, for both Input and Output. If you are installing Pro Tools 7.4.2 for Mac OS X 10.5.3, you should use the Digidesign CoreAudio included with your Pro Tools installation, not the standalone version.
